This is an introduction to a method that connects critical reading (R), critical thinking (T) and scholarly writing (W)--RTW. This may be different than other ways of approaching writing that you have used in the past. We have analyzed student writing and surveyed students extensively, and have consistently found that this method is a successful way to improve critical reading, critical thinking and scholarly writing. Here, you will be provided with the opportunity for guided practice in working with this method.
